24 Letting go

24 Letting go

24 Peace/Peace

You tell me a story about walking the dog on the beach:

"A digger has moved sand on top of the rock piles to make it easier for us to cross. We meet a lady with a Dalmatian, and I mistrustfully decline a treat for my dog, and we walk on. I stop at some poles, take at glance at the sea, and then we turn back home. Now the wind is coming in from the front and my green oilskin hat won't stay on. I take it off and place it between my arms and body.
I immediately think of the older gentleman I met at a dinner party. As I march in my rubber boots through the foam spray from the waves on the shore, the conversation about our life stories plays in my mind. We touched on the concepts of success and blissfulness. He told me that the most important thing in life is to be at peace with yourself."

You watch heavy blue clouds descend on your horizon, but I see your smile win.

Words become reality.
